Race Hill Farm is located in Roxbury, CT. While there was a farm every mile when my husband was growing up here in the 60's we are down to a handful of small producers left. There is the veg. farm that's been in the same family since 1713, an organic veg farm, TWO Highland Cattle producers a Hereford and an Angus producer. Race Hill Farm currently has 18 head. We started in 2000 and are now on our 4th bull. Black Watch Winslow will be up for sale in the next year or so, if anyone is interested. In addition to our 13 Highlands we have one Hereford and 4 High-fords (Highland dad, Hereford mom). Is anyone else cross-breeding? The High-fords pack a lot of meat onto their frames just eating the grass and hay. They are just as docile as the Highlands.
