Small Scale Diversified Farming (e.g. "Family Farming like it use to be done")

Hi all -

I've created a sister site to this one to discuss small family farming.  That site is for those of us who wish to live in the country and have our farms supply a significant portion of our family food needs.  Its open to all, including those that do this already and those that just wish too.

I suspect cattle will be discussed not just for profit and meat, but also for a families milk supply and potential oxen power.
